Disable focusing on the explorer(left sidebar) while editing specific files

In the previous version, when I opened any file, it would automatically expand in the left sidebar. Now it’s not working, and it’s very inconvenient. How can I enable it again?

Sounds like microsoft/vscode#260478 which is expected to be fixed in upcoming recovery release.
