Wanted to share that GitHub Team plans now have support for organization-wide rulesets!

Thanks for sharing this update , it’s a really useful improvement for teams using the GitHub Team plan. With this new feature, organizations can now create rulesets that apply across many repositories, not just one at a time. This was previously only available to Enterprise users, so it’s great to see it included in the Team plan.

Organization wide rulesets help you set rules like requiring code reviews, allowing only signed commits, or blocking direct pushes to main branches. These rules help keep your code safe and your workflow consistent. In the screenshot, we can see a ruleset named "teams rules" that is active. It allows organization admins to bypass the rules, which can be helpful for managing urgent changes. Repositories can also be targeted using filters, so the rules only apply to certain projects if needed.

Overall, this feature makes it much easier to manage large teams and multiple repositories by keeping everything under the same set of rules. It saves time, reduces mistakes, and improves team collaboration. If anyone is unsure how to get started, I’d be happy to help explain the setup process.
