I agree they should make it optional -- I thought in the repository settings you were able to turn off github usage, but maybe that didn't apply to PR reviews. For what it is worth, I have found the reviews to generally be quite good and worthwhile (including minor things that a junior engineer might miss). Sometimes they are wrong, but mostly they are insightful. Like normal PR comments, if I get no comments I always worry if it was check properly (I am always skeptical of it being one of those rare moments when I wrote perfect code the first time). |

I have disabled Copilot everywhere I can possibly find a setting for it but it seems that other contributors can still request that the bot "review" code, which clutters up a pull request with useless comments which must be deleted or ignored. It seems that https://github.com/copilot is not a normal user so I can't block it, and it's not an "app" so I can't revoke its permissions.
Is the only option here to migrate away from Github?
