In Azure DevOps Repos PRs, a reviewer can comment on an arbitrary selection of text in a file (even if it spans newlines). This is especially useful when suggesting changes, so the reviewer can easily correct a typo by only dealing with a single word (or character!):
This makes it much easier for the reader to mentally hone in on the substring being commented upon, rather than needing to absorb the diff of the entire line(s) of code.
As I understand it, Microsoft is investing in GitHub over Azure DevOps, so I hope this feature is included soon to at least have feature parity.
