Pause media playback on connect device when starting new media playback

I'm really happy how well the media playback auto pause function works when I receive an incoming phone call. This could be extended to media playback starting on connected devices.

Proposed solution

It would be really great, if that would also work with media playback. E.g.: As I'm on my computer I'm watching a YouTube video. When I leave my desk to do something in my house I want to listen to a podcast. It would be really nice, if that YouTube video playback would be paused when starting a playback on the phone vice versa.

Hmmmm...

I guess I could see this, as an option for users who wanted it. I think it would have to be off by default, though.

I know, just personally, I often have media playing on more than one device at the same time. (Watching a YouTube video on my phone while my computer streams music, for example, or previewing a downloaded sound sample on my desktop while my phone is showing a video.)

Maybe I'm just attention-deficit ("MAYBE"??), but I've always had trouble limiting myself to just a single distraction vying for my attention.

I can't see any sort of automated logic ever being smart enough to only kick in when I want it to, but not interfere when I don't want it. Even I have trouble identifying which is which!
