Error on GNOME shell 49

Describe the bug

When testing #2051 on a virtual Fedora Rawhide I noticed that while it can connect to other devices and they show up in the top-right menu, they don't show up in the preferences window.

At first install the preferences window also refused to open from the top-right menu while it did open from the extensions app and after a logout/login cycle or two has been opening from the top-right menu too, so that might be a non-issue related to installation method not expected to be used on a first install by users.

So if I'm skimming that right it might be solved by a dnf update in a small number of days/weeks?

Should be, looks like it's in the 2.86.0 tag.

I confirm having the same issues on Ubuntu 25.10. For Ubuntu, the issue is tracked there: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/+bug/2120780

It looks like they are waiting for a v2.85.5 containing this fix.
