Installation Guide for macOS:

  • System Requirements:

Operating System: macOS (Intel-based)
Memory: 2 GB RAM or more
Storage: 800 MB minimum free space
Other: Administrator privileges required

  1. Install Homebrew

If you don't already have Homebrew installed, follow this link and read the installation documentation .

  1. Install ClamAV using Homebrew

After installing Homebrew, run this command to install ClamAV:

brew install clamav

  1. Update Virus Definitions

Once ClamAV is installed, update the virus definitions by running:

sudo freshclam

  1. Download the SoftwareFixingSoftware1.0 Installer "SoftwareFixingSoftware1.0.dmg"

After downloading the installer:

feel free to verify checksum

a. Double-click the .dmg file to mount the installer.
b. Drag the SoftwareFixingSoftware1.0 app into the Applications folder.

  1. First-Time Setup

Upon first launch, the app will automatically configure itself and check for ClamAV. The user will be guided through basic configuration steps.

for security reasons, you have to change the storedCredential usually stored at "/Applications/SoftwareFixingSoftware1.0.app/Contents/Resources/app/Token"
Delete the item inside that folder named "Token"of the app and replace it with the one you will download from this site

If you happen to forget password and once you try to resend you encounter an error "an error occurred when sending the message" or no password recovery email is sent then you have to redownload the StoredCredential and replace it again

After installation, the app will start monitoring your system for threats in real-time with you trigger permissions
