Invalid regex like * breaking the page when clicking the select material button in Build & Deploy.

Describe the bug

To Reproduce

1. In-app Configuration > Workflow Editor. Build the Create CI Pipeline. Select Branch regex source type.
2. Add value * and save the pipeline
3. Go to Build & Deploy Click on the Select material button. The page will break

Expected behavior

Validation error should be displayed in the initial phase

Current behavior
Invalid regex like * breaking the page when clicking the select material button in Build & Deploy.
