Looks like there isn't a CHANGELOG.md file in here yet. :) Should we dump the entries in your PR description into such a file here, to start collecting changes?

We tend to use the Keep A Changelog format across other projects, with sections such as Changed, Removed, Deprecated, Added, Fixed (mostly in this order). Been very handy! Example for HTTPX here: https://github.com/encode/httpx/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md
