iOS build failed: Could not build Objective-C module 'Nitrolap'

Description

I am trying to install latest version of react-native-iap which now built on top of react-native-nitro-modules. I am unable to build iOS build. My react native build is crashing. I am using react native CLI.

Expected Behavior

iOS build should be able to compiled with no error.

Screenshots

Environment:

• react-native-iap: 14.0.1
• react-native: 0.75.4
• Platforms (iOS, Android, emulator, simulator, device): Xcode 16.0 iPhone 16 Pro

To Reproduce

• Make sure you have XCode 16
• Create a react native project with version 0.75.4.
• install the latest version react-native-iap

Is there any way to troubleshoot this issue ?

If you could also share the steps you took (or a minimal example to reproduce the issue), that would be really helpful. This kind of information is commonly shared and makes it much easier for us to track down the problem.

I’m experiencing a similar issue. Of course, I followed the installation steps from the documentation.

@minuk3508 Could you share more details? Log, reproducible steps, environments or anything so that we can get any hints out of it.

Looks like you've not installed rn nitro modules for now or not updated your pods

The logs clearly show that the related packages were installed, and the reproduction step was simply running the app in Xcode.

@minuk3508 I can’t see any React or React Native versions listed. Could you share which ones you’re using?
Also, did you test this with a fresh install or our example app? If not, I’d recommend trying that as well.

For example, you can run:

npx @react-native-community/cli@latest init AwesomeProject

I’ve gone through this many times already 😩

i turned on new_arch_enabled => true and pod update
