Nilesoft Shell is a script-first, text-driven system. It was designed to prioritize flexibility and control through plain-text .nss scripts. While powerful, this architecture also makes implementing a full GUI editor extremely challenging - almost impossible in practice.

Adding a simple GUI-based "Add Panel" (to insert new commands) is technically feasible - as long as it doesn’t conflict with existing logic. However, editing individual components (especially in complex or dynamic setups) becomes nearly impossible due to how scripts are structured and interpreted.

moudey has theoretical ideas for a potential workaround: a system involving a "temporary compiled file" that could be edited through a limited GUI. But this concept is still in early discussion - its flexibility, feasibility, and timeline remain uncertain.
