Hey Ajay You've already done the right thing by submitting support requests, but going 3 weeks with no response is honestly unacceptable. Here’s what you can try in the meantime: Double-check your billing settings here: https://github.com/settings/billing Tag GitHub Support on Twitter/X or post on GitHub’s official discussions — sometimes public visibility speeds things up. You could also try cancelling any "stuck" subscriptions and re-initiating the trial if it still allows (though likely won’t if it's expired). This isn’t the experience users should have, especially not with a feature as hyped as Copilot Pro. Hopefully someone from GitHub sees this and acts on it quickly. You're not alone — and honestly, your post might help push them to fix it. |

Hey! I’m sorry you’re running into this annoying problem with the Copilot 30-day free trial. That message saying “Your Copilot subscription has ended” right after starting the trial definitely sounds frustrating. First, it’s a good idea to double-check your payment information. Sometimes, if there’s an issue verifying the card or payment method, the trial can end prematurely. Also, try logging out of GitHub completely, clearing your browser cache, and then signing back in. This can refresh your account status. If that doesn’t help, try using a different browser or opening a private/incognito window to start the trial. Sometimes browser extensions or cached data cause conflicts with subscription status. Another trick is to cancel the current subscription fully (if possible), wait a few minutes, and then attempt the free trial again. Also, make sure you’re not logged into multiple GitHub accounts in the same browser at once, since that can confuse things. Finally, if none of these work, definitely try contacting GitHub support again. If you haven’t gotten a reply through the normal support channels, you might have luck reaching out on their Twitter or community forums — sometimes they respond faster there. Hope some of these tips help you get your Copilot trial working properly! |

I had raised a ticket about this on GitHub Support. The first ticket was submitted; it went unanswered. So I created another one, finally. After a month, no support member reached out to me or provided guidance. He apologised for the delay and asked me to go ahead and subscribe to the 30-day free trial, even though it indicates that payment is required first. |

In my case 10$ was deducted from my account, shouldn't github supposed to be charging 1$ just to verify the account for github copilot trial ? |

There is an issue with the GitHub Copilot Pro 30-Day free trial offer. Whenever the 30-day free trial is taken, after the subscription, it just shows that "Your Copilot subscription has ended". I mean like, What the fuck, I just took the subscription like 5 minutes ago.
First happened with my account, so I raised two support requests around 3 weeks ago, NO RESPONSE FROM GITHUB SUPPORT YET. I tried my mom's account for a 30-day free trial. The same thing happened, after some minutes, it is showing "Your Copilot subscription has ended". C'mon, Bro, for 2~2 accounts, how will it happen?
Like really, C'mon man, Github
