DAY 2: Create your GitHub Profile 💡 #168000
-
Welcome back to 7 Days of GitHub — a series designed for anyone starting fresh, exploring new skills, or finding their place in tech. Yesterday we answered the question What Is GitHub (and Why Do People Use It)? 🤔 Today, we’re shifting gears from “What is GitHub?” to “Who are you on GitHub?” ✅ Goal of the Day:Set up your GitHub profile so others (and future you!) can get a sense of who you are and what you’re working on. 🧠 What You Should Know:Your GitHub profile is your digital front door. It tells people:
GitHub is used by millions of people — but profiles make it feel personal. Whether you’re here to explore open source, practice coding, or just figure out how things work, your profile is a space to say: “Hi, this is me.” And the best part? You can start simple and, like Mona Lisa, build it up over time. 🛠️ Hands-On Challenge:Step 1: Open your profile
Step 2: Fill out the basics
Tip You can update this anytime. Start where you are. Step 3: Add a README to customize your profile
Now you can edit that README to say hello! Try writing: Tip 🧪 Want to get fancy? Try using Markdown to add emojis, links, or section headers. 💬 Community Prompt:🗣️ Drop a link to your GitHub profile in the comments! Let’s get to know each other 👇 🔗 Want to Go Deeper?
🎉 Done? Nice work! |

🗣️ https://github.com/angeloLib I added a bit about my love for Codewars and my interest in learning new things like Rust or Solidity — that part feels the most "me." If you visit my profile, I’d really appreciate any feedback on what I could improve, anything helps! 🙌 |

🗣️ https://github.com/virajwathsalag I love to connect with the society and wor with them. Most of my projects are group based not a single one of them are personal. Software engineering is team work with personal understanding. |

Hi, I'm Mackenzie. This is my GitHub profile! I am still in the process of building everything out. I will definitely create my README soon. My favorite thing about my profile is that I can customize it as I learn more-- that's what feels most exciting to me! I want others to know that I'm just starting out, but I'm really excited to dive into programming and technical writing with GitHub. I would love to connect with community members to learn more! |

Hello Everyone! ✨🤙About MeHey, I'm Túlio from Brazil! I run an AI Agency and specialize in AI & Automation projects, especially in the low-code/no-code space. While I'm not a career developer, I love building practical solutions and tinkering with tech. Origin StoryAlthough I'm not a developer by trade, I've always been the "computer guy." |
