Domain stays on pending even after opening the validation link

Problem:

• The approved domain stays on status "Pending" even after clicking the "confirm link"

Expected output:

• the domain is approved.

Steps to reproduce:

• Click on "Add approved access domain" (in our case prinz.tax)
• Open the e-mail and click on the link "validate domain" in the email. I am being forwarded to the "Workspace > Security" page
