I would like to apply to be a triager for this project.

I have been very active on the official discord server, and @avivkeller & @ovflowd suggested I become a member of the triage team to be able to extend my supports work to the node project directly.
I want to help people, and through this keep broadening my knowledge of nodejs.

As I back-end developer for now ten years, I always want to contribute to the FOSS projects I rely on, so I also hope this can be a first step toward a deeper involvement in the project.

I have read the Code of Conduct, and swear to abide by it.

+1 from me. @milesguicent has been very active on non-GitHub Node.js channels (notably the Discord), and I believe adding them to the org + giving them triage permissions here would be beneficial to the community.

LGTM, my only concern is that your GitHub account is new (do you have another account, or are you just starting out in this world?). I mean, it would be good for you to start looking at current issues and also check out the discussions (https://github.com/orgs/nodejs/discussions) for help, so you can get used to the dynamics of being a triager. The permissions that come with this role aren’t necessary to help out here.

If you feel that an issue should be closed because it’s no longer relevant, you can ping me and I’ll help get it closed while your nomination goes through.

Understandable, and to be frank I expected this. I have another account I use for my professional work, using my real name. I don't want to dox myself when I work in the open, so I created this account to do all of my future open-source work.

But this is my first time working on such a big project, so thanks for all the pointers, I'll start catching up on those discussions.

I don't think this is a concern and I've seen consistent behaviour from the user being supportive.

This is a +1 from my side.

That’s totally respectable, I have no problem with that, so welcome!

I trust your judgment, it’s just that not all of us are on Discord or pay much attention to it (I just checked Discord and yes, thanks @milesguicent for the help)

@bjohansebas unless things have changed since I was a triager, I don't think triagers are supposed to add the "commit-queue" label.

Additionally, this wasn't ready to land, since @milesguicent is not yet a member of the organization (cc @nodejs/TSC)

@bjohansebas unless things have changed since I was a triager, I don't think triagers are supposed to add the "commit-queue" label.

Hmm, this is the first time I’ve heard that. I’ve done it several times before, and nobody has complained about it all this time.

Besides, I’ve always followed the rules for merging: waiting 7 days, getting TSC approval if it’s a semver change, and all the other rules listed in the documentation. Also, there always has to be approval from a collaborator before merging. So why couldn’t a triager help with that, if it’s already been approved by one or more collaborators?

Additionally, this wasn't ready to land, since @milesguicent is not yet a member of the organization (cc @nodejs/tsc)

My nomination and those of other triagers who came after me were launched first and then we were added. At some point a TSC member will add it. I don’t see that as a problem, but if it is, then it will have to wait until next time

Noted. I haven't been a triager for several months, so my information is definitely not the most up to date.

Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience

@nodejs/tsc can someone add @milesguicent to the org and to the triagers team?

##### Notable Changes

##### HTTP/2 Network Inspection Support in Node.js

Node.js now supports inspection of HTTP/2 network calls in Chrome DevTools for Node.js.

##### Usage

Write a `test.js` script that makes HTTP/2 requests.

```js
const http2 = require('node:http2');
const client = http2.connect('https://nghttp2.org');
const req = client.request([
  ':path', '/',
  ':method', 'GET',
]);
```

Run it with these options:

```bash
node --inspect-wait --experimental-network-inspection test.js
```

Open `about:inspect` on Google Chrome and click on `Open dedicated DevTools for Node`.
The `Network` tab will let you track your HTTP/2 calls.
